What is the difference if an employee of a SEG opens an account through his/her employer, versus them coming into an RCU Branch on their own? Easy, RCU's Membership Sign-up Now Rewards Program!
When employees establish accounts through their employer, and through RCU's Business Development Department, rather than at a branch, they qualify for the following special offers These offers are only available to them because they are employees of an established SEG with RCU. The following offers include:
*Some restrictions & requirements apply to all offers included in RCU's Membership Sign-up Now Rewards. Offers not available through any RCU Branch, only through RCU's Business Development Department.
There is absolutely no catch! The only thing we ask of our SEGs is that they schedule an RCU representative to visit with their employees or order a supply of Payroll Inserts to promote this special benefit to their employees. Visiting employees is preferable and events such as Membership Drives, Staff Presentations, and invitations to Company Benefit Fairs or Open Enrollments enable RCU Representatives to provide personalized service to SEG employees.
SEGs are companies that have partnered with RCU in order to offer Credit Union membership as part of their employee benefit package. Technology companies, schools and non-profit organizations are just some of the types of organizations that offer Credit Union services to their employees.
Some requirements do apply to become a SEG with RCU. The business requesting to become a SEG needs to be located within RCU's current Field of Membership, which includes Mendocino, Lake, Sonoma, Napa, Marin, Contra Costa, Solano, or San Francisco counties. Those companies that have their corporate headquarters located within one of RCU's 8 North Bay counties, but have locations outside of RCU's current Field of Membership as well, can apply to become an official SEG. To do so, please follow the same steps listed in the 1 - 2 - 3 below and a Business Development Representative will get in contact with you!
Becoming a SEG is as easy as 1 - 2 - 3! There is no binding contract to sign, no access paperwork, and absolutely NO COST! The only action that we encourage you to do is follow the easy 1, 2, 3 and schedule a Credit Union Day (Membership Drive, Employee Presentation, Open Enrollment Presentation, Participation at Company Benefit Fair, etc.) or order Payroll Inserts to announce the new benefit available to them!
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call or e-mail our Business Development Department! We look forward to serving your company and employees!
